Trial, pain, or hardship can be transformed into foundations of strength! NO matter the difficulty, never give up and push through! In most cases, the presence of pain means “Gods planning.” (Original piece by Poetic Black)

Special thanks to Poetic Black, an Award-Winning Spoken Word Performance Artist/Actor/Curator and Content Creator of Kingz of Spadez and the Grand Griot Competition. He also hosts the Podcast: “Iron Sharpenth Iron” and the “Spoke Sol Session” show, and is the CEO of The Composition Entertainment LLC.

“Iron Sharpenth Iron” offers a stage for spoken word artists to compete and express their written words on the platform ClubHouse. Spoke Sol Sessions is a show that allows guests to discuss current issues that affect the community and how it all relates to poetry.

Each podcast is streamed on Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Amazon Music, Spotify, iHeart Radio and Audible.

February 2023 (Custom Made Grand Griot Competition belt for championship!) Spoken Word is an oral poetic performance art where speakers engage in powerful self-expression by sharing their views on particular topics or life experiences.

We're Gathering Goods for Guyana!

GloryShines Foundation Inc. is hosting a fundraiser for a Red Cross Convalescent Home (RCCH) located in D’Urban Blackland Georgetown Guyana! From August to November 2023, we will be collecting clothing, toys, books and canned goods. All donations will be personally delivered to the orphanage this Christmas of 2023 and this experience will even be professionally documented by a videgrapher! We can’t wait for you all to witness the blessings of your donations!

Much Gratitude!

The breathtaking landscapes of Guyana are certainly one of the most striking features of the country. Many huge rivers are winding their way through savannah and the jungle. With small creeks, lakes, huge and thundering waterfalls.

Although, Guyana is a beautiful country racial tensions and political instability detract from a complete fulfillment of children’s rights in Guyana.

35.1% of the population lives under the poverty level of $1 a day

Many children that are abandoned in Guyana suffer from disabilities or an illness. Often, children live in single parent homes that are surviving on the poverty level of $1 a day. Many parents cannot afford to properly care for children with illnesses or disabilities. In return, parents face social backlash and judgement by others, when unable to properly care for sick or disabled children, causing high numbers of children to be abandon on the street or in the care of an orphanage.

GloryShines Foundatioin Inc. is here to shed light on the effects of this social issue. We are currently running a fundraiser from August to November 2023. We are accepting cash, clothes, books, and toy donations, which will be hand delivered to the orphanage in Georgetown Guyana this December 2023. Please review our Events & Fundraiser page for more details.

Also, feel free you make any donations now or contact us at gloryshines888@gloryshines.org
